1. General Information

Autoalquilers (operated by AutoalquilersGmbH & Co. Car Rentals KG) provides vehicle rental and self-service solutions in multiple countries. The rental contract is established between the renter and the operating branch or franchise partner. These terms govern the use of vehicles, payment obligations, insurance coverage, and liability limitations.

2. Booking & Rental Requirements

• The renter must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving license for a minimum of one year.
• Additional drivers must be registered at the time of booking or vehicle pickup.
• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation via email.
• Customers must present a valid credit or debit card in their own name upon collection.

3. Payment & Deposits

Payments for rentals are processed online or at the rental counter. A security deposit may be required and will be refunded upon safe return of the vehicle. Any unpaid tolls, parking tickets, or damages will be deducted from this deposit.

4. Vehicle Use

• The vehicle must be used only for legal purposes and in accordance with local traffic laws.
• Smoking and transportation of illegal goods are strictly prohibited.
• Vehicles must not be driven outside designated geographical zones unless previously authorized.

5. Insurance & Damage

All rentals include basic insurance coverage. Optional coverages (e.g., Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection) are available at an extra cost. In case of an accident, the renter must immediately inform local authorities and the Autoalquilers support team.

6. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup.
• 50% charge for cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup.
• No refund for no-shows or cancellations after the rental period begins.

7. Liability

Autoalquilers is not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, or missed travel connections. Our liability is limited to cases of proven negligence or intentional misconduct.

8. Personal Data & Privacy

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information such as your name, contact details, and payment method is used only for booking and legal compliance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in London, UK.
